Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This policy lists every cookie PropVista sets, explains what each one is for, and describes how you can control them.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking or analytics cookies. Every cookie below is set by PropVista itself and is necessary for the service to work — principally to keep you signed in and to protect your account.

1. Cookies we set

CookieWhat it doesHow long it lasts
propvista.sessionKeeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would be asked to sign in again on every request.Session, with a rolling expiry
__Host-propvista.csrf-tokenProtects against cross-site request forgery — it lets us confirm a form submission genuinely came from you and not from another site acting in your name.Session
propvista.csrfCompanion to the token above, used to validate the sign-in exchange.Session
propvista.mfaRecords that you have completed a second authentication factor, so you are not challenged repeatedly within one session.Session
propvista.portalIdentifies that you are signed in to a client portal rather than staff software, so you are shown the right workspace.Session
propvista.appThe equivalent marker for brokerage staff signing in to the application.Session
propvista.supportSet only when a PropVista support agent has been granted temporary access to assist with an issue. Its presence is recorded in the audit log.Duration of the support session

2. Search preferences

Where you have accepted, we also store your recent search preferences on your own device so a returning visit can pick up where you left off. This stays on your device and is not used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone.

3. Your choices

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the notice shown when you first visit, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for this site in your browser.

The cookies in the table above are strictly necessary — they are what keeps you signed in and protects your account — so rejecting them is not possible while you are signed in. If you block them in your browser, signing in will not work.

4. Your data rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and Canada's PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. How we handle personal data generally is described in our Privacy Policy, and you can make a request directly through our data deletion page.

5. Changes

If we add a cookie, this page is updated at the same time. The “last updated” date above tells you when it last changed.
